This shop is the only remaining shop in Wouldham, currently the village stores and also including a post office.

Frank and Thomas Osgathorpe were successful postmasters and owners of the shop for more than 25 years around the 1930s.

The post office seems to have moved round quite a bit, being not only here, but also at 76 High Street, the old Rose and Crown Pub and also 182 High Street (co-op).

158 High Street

Brooker's fish and chips shop, ran by Daph Brooker (wife of Les Brooker).

This was a co-op store. Interestingly, although no longer used as a shop, it still retains its old shop front. This also is thought to have contained a post office at one time.
