Recreation Ground

The recreation ground is found at the southern end of the village and today contains a football pitch, car park and playgrounds.
There was a plan to also build a swimming pool and reading rooms (this never happened).
In the future, it is planned that part of the recreation ground will be built over in order to built a new village hall.
